まずは英作文の肩慣らしです。
１，次の空欄に適切な語句をいれて、英文を完成させてください。ただし、解答だけでなく、英文すべてをノートなどに書いてください。

基本的なルール
- 英語1語とは、英単語１つのこと
- I’m は、1語と数える
- ピリオド、カンマは語数に数えない
- 1文とは、ピリオドまでの文
英作文を書くとき、覚えておいた方がいい熟語

英作文のテーマと例文
英作文で多いテーマを紹介します。
問題の形式としては、次の形が多いです。
（１）テーマ：環境、形式：意見と理由
海洋プラスチック汚染について、次の対話文を読んで、あなたはアヤカの考えに賛成ですか、それとも反対ですか。理由を含めてあなたの考えを25語程度の英文で書きなさい。
Steward: in our country, a town became famous because every store stopped selling water in plastic bottles. I think it’s a good idea. What do you think?
Ayaka: I think we should do the same thing in our town.
＊plastic bottles: ペットボトル
I think so. We don’t think about plastic trash when we buy water or cola. So, we should take our water bottles instead of them.
意見を述べるときは、この構成にします。
- 賛成か反対か、自分の意見を書く。
- その理由を書く。
- まとめの文を書く。
ちなみに、trash: ごみ、water bottle ：水筒、instead of：の代わりに。
（２）テーマ：学校生活、形式：対話文
体育祭について、留学生のJoeと同じクラスのMaiとの対話です。

１，学校生活、対話文(4語以上）
1 I stayed home because it rained yesterday.
2 I finished reading a new book.
3 Who’s your favorite author?
ステイホームという言葉がありますが、stay at homeとstay homeどちらでも問題ありません。
この問題は、さまざまな解答例があります。
ここにあるのは、一番シンプルなものです。
２，留学、メール（5語以上）
1 I arrived at home last night.
2 When I was studying in Canada, I learned a lot.
到着する：arrive at , get to があります。
留学：study abroad, と言いますが、明らかにカナダにいたので、study in Canadaでも問題ありません。
過去進行形は時間的な幅があるほうです。
「学ぶ」と「留学」ならどっちの時間が長いか、考えてみましょう。
３，学校生活、質問（15語以上35語以内）
A school festival is my favorite memory. I played the guitar with my friends on the stage.
Practicing the guitar was hard. But I was happy because everyone enjoyed our performance.
思い出を語るものなので、2文目からの時制は過去形にするよう気を付けてください。

動詞costの使い方

５，日常生活、対話文（5語程度）
1 I enjoyed it a lot.
2 Can I ask a question?
3 What’s their favorite food?
5語程度なので、4語から6語くらいまでの英文です。
６，日常生活、対話文（15語程度）
1 We have five days before it. Can you play tennis after school today?
2 I think so too. How about practicing it on Wednesday after school? I’m free on that day.
「テニスの試合まであと5日」というのは英文にしづらいです。
なので、「テニスの試合の前に5日ある」と考えましょう。
What do you think?に対する答えなので、I think so. / I don’t think so の２つです。
Judyは1日だけでは不十分と考え、Yの答えも水曜日が空いていると伝えるので、I think so. となります。
その後は、I’m free on Wednesday after school. So, let’s practice on that day. でもOKです。
英作文の解答・解説（７～９）
７，自分のこと、質問（30語以上）
I like September the best. One reason is that there is my birthday in this month.
I often go to my favorite restaurant with my family, and we share a birthday cake. (32語）
becauseは2つのパータンだけでしか使えません。
- Why? に対する返答
- 2つの文をくっつけて使う
なので、One reason is that ~が理由を表すとき、単独で使うことができます。
８，留学、リスニングの問題（10語以上）
I like going to the park because I want to walk around it.
I like spending time at home because I have to do my homework.
解答例のような文のとき、park（もしくはhome) とbecauseの間にピリオドは入りません。
9，部活動、対話文
