仮定法は事実とちがう願望や想像を表現します。
中学生で習うのは、If I were~, I would do ~.の文と、I wish の2種類のみ、とシンプル。

仮定法 ( if )の解説
基本形
例文
If I were free today, I could go shopping with you. (もし今日ひまなら、あなたと買い物に行けるのに。）
本当は、「今日忙しいから、買い物に行けない」ということです。
I am busy today, so I cannot go shopping with you. （私は今日忙しいから、あなたと買い物に行けない。）
主語は、I以外でもOKです。
If he had a car, you could go there soon. （もし彼が車を持っていれば、あなたはすぐにそこへ行けるのに。）
まとめ
- 日本語：現在⇒英語：過去形
- be動詞はwere
- カンマの後は、would かcould
仮定法 ( I wish)の解説
・基本形
例文
I wish our teacher were kind to us. （先生が私たちにやさしいならいいのに。）
事実は、「先生は私たちにやさしくない」ということです。
I wish I could go back to a kindergarten child. （幼稚園児に戻れたらいいのに。）
could も使うことができます。
He wishes he could start his life in another world. （彼は異世界に転生できたらいいのにと思っています。）
主語は I 以外でも大丈夫です。
I hope he will be rich. （私は彼が金持ちになって欲しいと思います。）
「hope」はまだ実現できること、「wish」は実現しないこと、をあらわします。
まとめ
