中学3年生で習う関係代名詞の主格と目的格の練習問題を用意しました。
二つの文を一つにする方法も、しっかり解説しています。

関係代名詞の解説
関係代名詞で2つの文を１つにする（主格）
関係代名詞は、名詞に長い修飾語をつけるときに使う表現です。
名詞によって、関係代名詞は3種類。

| 物・ことがら | which | a cake which is made by her (彼女によってつくられたケーキ） |
| その両方 | that | the man that works at the factory （工場で働く男） |
主格は、who, which, that が he she it they など主語とおなじ働きをします。
名詞 (主語 動詞 目的語)=関係代名詞
次の２つの英文を、関係代名詞で1つの英文にしてみましょう。
１，He と同じものをさす単語を、Do you know a boy? から見つけます。
Do you know a boy? He plays tennis.
２，a boy の直後に He plays tennis を入れます。
Do you know a boy he plays tennis?
３，さいごに he を関係代名詞 who に変えます。
Do you know a boy who plays tennis?
完成です！
who plays tennis は、a boy の修飾語（中身を説明している言葉）です。
主語 動詞 名詞 (主語 動詞 目的語)=名詞の修飾語
関係代名詞は必ず名詞とセットなので、分詞、間接疑問文、疑問詞、接続詞のthat とは違います。
Do you know who plays tennis? (間接疑問文）
Who plays tennis? (疑問詞）
I know that he plays tennis. (接続詞のthat)
ややこしいですが、who, which, that の前に名詞があれば関係代名詞なので、見分けられます。
関係代名詞で2つの文を１つにする（目的格）
which, that 以下が名詞の長い修飾語なのは同じです。
目的格の場合、which, that は him, her, it, them など目的語の代わりとなります。
目的格：This is a cake which my mother made yesterday.
主格はwhich が主語、目的格は別の主語があります。
次の2つの英文を関係代名詞で1つの英文にしてみましょう。
１，it と共通の名詞を見つけます。
This is a cake. I made it last night.
２，a cake の直後に、I made it last night を入れます。
This is a cake I made it last night.
３，it を a cake の前に移動します。
This is a cake it I made last night.
４，it を which に変えます。
This is a cake which I made last night.
完成です！
さらに、目的格の場合、 which, that を省略できます。
This is a cake I made last night.
名詞が最上級、the only のときに、関係代名詞のthat だけが使われます。
This is the only water that we can drink. （これは私たちが飲むことができる唯一の水です。）

こちらは関係代名詞の主格の練習なので、who, which that が主語になる英文を関係代名詞にしてください。
